No break for Prendergast
Story by Kevin Luff - 4th April 2007

Winger has not suffered a break following reserves
Rory Prendergast has not suffered a fractured shoulder as first feared. The winger was carried off during last night's reserve game against Hartlepool United. Prendergast, who is on loan from Rochdale, went down under a challenge from Mark Tinkler and had to be stretchered off.
X-rays have thankfully shown no break. The twenty-eight year old still has heavy bruising and a stiff neck but is receiving treatment and could be back in the frame for Darlington over the Easter period.
Meanwhile Brian Close damaged his hamstring during the game. The player will be assessed to discover the extent of his injury. Finally Lee Jones continues to struggle with a persistent groin injury and will be operated on later this month.
