PARTNERSHIP SET TO CONTINUE

Posted on: Fri 18 May 2007

Darlington manager Dave Penney has confirmed that Martin Gray will work alongside him next season as assistant manager. Gray was installed as Penney's assistant upon the manager's arrival in October.

Gray, who is currently set to undertake his UEFA Pro license this summer, played an important role upon Penney's arrival helping the manager run the rule over personnel at the club and he has said that the partnership will continue into next season.

"Martin Gray has a contract to run alongside me as assistant manager. He came in and helped me assess the staff and I am delighted with what he has done with us. I am looking forward to working with him for the next couple of years," said Penney.
