DARLO FAN'S CYCLE FEAT
Howard Bradley, a Darlington fan based in Welling near London, will be missing the match in Macclesfield on Saturday - but all in a good cause.
The veteran cyclist will by then hopefully be close to finishing a 300-mile sponsored ride in aid of the British Legion poppy appeal. Howard, a member of the DAFTS supporters' group, is joining the 250-stong Poppy Ride, which is due to end at the Arc de Triomphe.
It's not unknown for Howard to cycle to matches. Last season, one of his training rides for this event was to the Milton Keynes game. His longest ride though was to the Wrexham home game last season - 300 miles, accompanied by fellow Darlo fan Chris Stockdale.
You can sponsor him online by going to www.bmycharity.com. Simply type in Howard Bradley's name in the "Sponsor a friend" box and you can donate to the charity, which does such a lot of great work for ex-servicemen and women.
