THE QUAKER - CHESTER
The latest issue of the Quaker is on sale this weekend priced at £2.50. Revised for latest season the Quaker is packed full of information along with six pages on visitors Chester City including an introduction to Bobby Williamson's team, a look at all their players and an update on what has been happening at the Deva Stadium of late.
The 56 page programme also includes the latest news coming out of the Darlington Arena, match reports and an interview with returning strike Pawel Abbott. Regular contributor Frank Tweddle takes a look at previous meetings between the two clubs and looks back thirty-years to three Darlington fixtures from the past.
Gav Ellis brings us his usual forthright views whilst our semi-irregular feature looking at loan players from the past casts an eye over Matthew Bates. Martin Gray and Neil Maddison give their updates on the reserves and youth team whilst Scott Thornberry from Darlo Uncovered pens his usual column and tries to tell us what the heck is going on with his website at the moment.
Ray Simpson from BBC Radio Tees brings us another 'From the Press Box' and we also round up the big stories in Coca-Cola League Two. Finally Dave Penney gives his thoughts ahead of the game along with skipper Stephen Foster. Chief Executive Jon Sotnick and Chairman George Houghton also give us the view from the corridors of power at the Arena.
Along with photographs from club photographer Les Hodge there really is plenty to read and it's the perfect companion to the match. Make sure you don't miss out by picking up your copy ahead of the game.
