Darlington Football club is sad to announce the sudden death of a true friend and employee of the club Eric Ferguson.

Eric worked several years within our school of excellence. He also worked alongside our youth recruitment officer as a scout in the Durham area. He was a most valued person of whom it will be impossible to replace.

George Dixon, the club's Youth Recruitment Officer, uses one word to describe him; a gentleman.

We would like to send our deepest sympathies to his wife Anne and his family on behalf of everyone at the club.
