The Football Conference has a whole were offered a massive financial boost this past week with a £6m solidarity package being agreed with the Premier League.
The funding will be split in general payments with the 68 clubs as well as being used to fund specific projects and developments.
The money will also play a huge part in helping towards the development of youth facilities and academies within the Football Conference.
The management war of words has begun this week ahead of the new season, with Luton Town manager Richard Money publicly slating Crawley Town boss Steve Evans over his interest in Hatters midfielder Keith Keane.
The Red Devils are rumoured to be prepared to offer a "six-figure sum" for the 23-year-old midfielder.
Money, however, has laughed off the claims and said: "When they (Crawley Town) put a bid in, I'll tell them in no uncertain terms where exactly they can take their offer."
He added: "Steve Evans is trying to be very clever. I wouldn't really call it mind games though. I'd call it petty, ridiculous rubbish."
The chances of Luton allowing the influential midfielder leave Kenilworth Road would seem unlikely with Keane signing a new two-year contract only five months ago.
Money commented further: "I am hearing that they are going to make a six figure bid. I can assure you now that unless the number starts with a 9 we will not be interested.
Trouble in York this week as one of the cities biggest shopping squares was forced to close after violence involving around 50 York City fans erupted.
Police were forced to close the St Helen's Square as violence broke out amongst Hull City fans who were in the city for a pre-season friendly with The Minstermen.
Eyewitnesses on the scene said that police in riot gear were forced to step in and move the fans to the Lendal Cellar pub where the fans were then contained.
Two hours later police escorted the fans to the cities Railway Station and one man was arrested in connection with the incident.

Injury blow - Cambridge's Rory McAuley ruled out for up to six weeks
Cambridge United were dealt a massive blow this week with utility man Rory McAuley ruled out for up to six weeks after undergoing knee surgery.
The 20-year-old suffered a slight tear to cartilage in his knee during pre-season training and could now miss the first month of the season.
The U's boss Martin Ling said: "With Rory being a young and determined man we will hopefully have him back as quickly as we can possibly can."
Ling ruled out the possibility of bringing in cover for McAuley adding: "For the timescale that we'll be out with Rory, it doesn't really make sense to bring any cover in."
Since rising through the clubs youth ranks McAuley's ability to play central-midfield, right-back and centre-half have made him a key member of the squad.
In transfer news, Rushden and Diamonds have finalised a deal for Lewis Spence following his release from Wycombe Wanderers.
The 22-year-old made only three appearances for the Chairboys after starting out at Crystal Palace.
AFC Wimbledon have signed Dover midfielder Sammy Moore after a successful trial with the club.
Striker Lee Phillips has joined BSBP newcomers Bath City. The 29-year-old started his career at Plymouth before moving on to spells at Weymouth, Torquay, Exeter and Rushden and Diamonds.
Kettering Town signed their former midfielder Brett Solkhon for his second spell at The Poppies. The 27-year-old has played for Corby Town and Brackley Town since being released from Rockingham Road and becomes the clubs fifth summer signing.
Aston Villa youth goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist is set to join Tamworth on a season-long loan. The 18-year-old is on trial at the club and is to play in two pre season games ahead of a move.
Mansfield Town were dealt a cruel blow this week with Michael and Rory Boulding both leaving the club to join Barnsley and Accrington respectively.
Michael agreed to play for the nPower Championship club for free, after scoring against them in a practice match for The Stags last Wednesday.
