Mark Cooper takes his squad to the Lake District today for a three-day team-building trip.
The Darlington boss will begin the trip with a game at Blue Square North side Workington on the West coast tonight, followed by an activity day tomorrow.
They'll then go to Kendal for another game on Thursday night, and Cooper is hoping to get a lot out of the trip.
"We are going there for some tough training, two tough games against Workington and Kendal and a bit of team bonding," he said.
"It should be good fun and they have all been great to work with. They seem to get on well. There are no 'Big-time Charlies', which is something we need if we want to be successful.
"We go to an activity centre when we will do archery, clay pigeon shooting. I will be getting stuck in. We will have a little competition and the gaffer always wins!
"You learn who the leaders are, who the followers are, you learn loads. You stand back and see what kind of characters you have got.
"When you are with them for four or five days in a camp you get to see what they are like. It will be good.
"The players will be happy to get away from the training ground, do something different and I'm looking forward to the games.
"More realistic sort of games to where we are. Workington is always tough place to go and Kendal. Hopefully we will get a gauge."
