Bury will hold a pitch inspection at 9am on New Year's Day ahead of Darlington's clash with the Shakers.

With more heavy rain expected over the next twenty-four hours, club officials have called in the match referee to inspect the pitch.

Local weather forecasts for Sunday and overnight indicate heavy rain and the club don't want to take the chance with the weather.
