Darlington have no new injury worries - other than Noel Whelan - as they go into the game at third from bottom Cheltenham Town.
The home side have already described it as a 'must win game' as they bid to make sure that they stay clear of the relegation zone, and it is therefore a massive game for Darlington as they seek to claw back ground on the teams above them.
Manager Steve Staunton will check on how fresh some of his players are before naming his side, as assistant boss Kevin Richardson explained.
"We have gone from not having a competitive game for weeks to suddenly playing two a week. The players have given their all in the three games since we started playing again.
"Their attitude was great against Northampton on Tuesday, because they kept pressing to the end to try and get something out of game that we didn't deserve to lose.
"Fortunately we have not picked up any niggling injuries, and we hope that the players are fit enough to come through Saturday's game, because then we have a break without a mid-week game."
And Richardson is confident that Quakers can turn in another good performance this weekend.
"The break because of the bad weather has done us good. We have played well in two and a half of the games since then, the only bad performance coming in the first half at Crewe.
"I'd like to think that is the season was starting now, we would not be in the bottom two with the squad of players we now have.
"And there will be pressure on Cheltenham. This is a game they have to try and win and maybe we can counter attack."
Richardson has been pleased with the endeavour and ability shown by the players, particularly those for whom it is a new experience. Gareth Waite has made the step up from part time football with Spennymoor, while Tadgh Purcell has made a big early impression in the English game after arriving from Ireland.
